Jeppe Sleeping is the title of the exhibition with a series of intaglio prints by Jóhan Martin Christiansen. The works are based on images of the artist's sleeping lover. The sleeping figure is a fragile size, we find ourselves in a state where we are resting, dreaming – the gaze is directed inward, not out towards the world. The work series point to the queer bodily experiences the lovers carry around – love and desire. We are deep inside the most intimate part of life.
