'DYNAMITHULLER' – A Sensory Theater Experience
For Cyprianus Radio #5, playwrighter Ingeborg Bjarno Thomsen has written a new piece inspired by the legendary Tingskoven in Jammerbugt. Three upcoming performing artist from the group Theater Kærlig Reminder have taken on the task of staging the piece for Sunday, November 10, at Tinghuset.
"Step into Tingskoven.
Inhale the fresh scent of pine trees.
Open the old, heavy door of Tinghuset and gaze up at the sky through the vaulted ceiling of the courthouse.
Enter a world where the magical meets the everyday, where each chestnut and every stone holds a story of its own.
Experience an experimenting theater performance that interweaves past, present, and fiction in a kaleidoscopic journey across times. Feel the energy of ancient stone circles, offering sacrifices of hope and dreams, and let yourself be swept up by the gentle rhythm of nature speaking to us through Memories of the Forest.
Here, you’re invited to remember your own moments of magic—perhaps a beloved teddy bear or a movie ticket with memories of a captivating night..."
'DYNAMITHULLER' explores when something becomes magical. Is it in what we play with or in the choices we make?
The Memories of the Forest will guide us safely through a sensory journey, where chestnuts become symbols of imagination’s power, and dynamite holes remind us of the scattered magic that can emerge when something changes.
Blending storytelling, play, and poetry, The Memories of the Forest invites you into a universe where the voices of the nature and human dreams entwine. The audience is invited to partake in this timeless tale that speaks not only of the past but of all of us—and the things we choose to believe in.
Because in Tingskoven, nothing is as it first appears.

Theater Kærlig Reminder is a newly formed theater group consisting of Dea Depenau (she/her), Patrick Grace (he/him), Nicoline Malling (she/her), and Anna Mouritzen (she/her). The members met at the 'TGK' (Theater Basic Course) at Theater Nordkraft in Aalborg. While each is engaged in various projects individually, 'Cyprianus Radio 5' marks their debut as Theater Kærlig Reminder.
They are currently working on their own project, "Gap Year," a play about the experience of young people being thrown headfirst into freedom. Theater Kærlig Reminder aims to present theater in all its forms—from the everyday to the supernatural. A gentle slap, a creative disruption, a sarcastic smile—theater wrapped in a heartfelt reminder.

The event is part of the event series 'Cyprianus Radio', featuring six innovative and free cultural/nature-inspired events held in Rebild Municipality, Jammerbugt Municipality, and Vesthimmerland Municipality. Cyprianus Radio is created and organized by the curatorial group Kaellingstenen.
The project’s name, 'Cyprianus Radio', references ancient black books of magic and spells and aims to rekindle a sense of enchantment in humanity’s relationship with nature—specifically in three North Jutland natural areas. Throughout 2024, Kaellingstenen has invited a range of diverse artists working in sound, performance, or literature to create new works or experiences for each event, rooted in the natural landscapes of the respective municipalities: Rold Forest, Tingskoven, and Borremosen.
